Our Construction Update

The Moncton Boys and Girls Club began it's initial development of its Capital program in 2003 to help realize the goal of expanding and renovating it's facilities at 15 Everett Street for the children and youth of the Greater Moncton community. The goal of this project is to raise funds through a public fund raising campaign, along with the support of the municipal, provincial and federal governments.

Today, the Moncton Boys and Girls Club has met its public funding goal for the project, however, we are still awaiting promised funds through the Canada-New Brunswick Municipal Rural Infrastructure Fund Secretariat. We have been discussing the matter with the new Provincial and Federal governments in recent months and have received the full support from the Provincial Minister of Health Mike Murphy and Federal Ministers Peter Mackay and Greg Thompson to help realize this project. A meeting with the Municipal Rural Infrastructure Commitee is scheduled in June to hopefully finalize this project.
